Stewed Chicken

Johwell Baptiste Saint-Cilien shares his favorite Caribbean dish: stew chicken with a little sweetness and a hint of heat.  

9 chicken thighs
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 onion, chopped
1 c. tomato sauce
1 habanero pepper, seeded and chopped
3 cloves garlic, chopped
3 sprigs fresh thyme
juice from 3 limes
2 tbs. ketchup
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. ground all spice
1/2 tsp. turmeric
1 tbs. brown sugar
1 1/2 chicken bouillon
5 tbs. vegetable oil
