Featured Cook: Howard Jang
Howard is the executive chef and co-owner of Lucky Luna restaurant in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. His food is inspired by Taiwanese and Mexican street food, and focuses on sustainable, local and humanely-raised meats and produce. Seeing an opportunity to highlight all that Brooklyn has to offer, Jang and his two partners decided to make Lucky Luna a “community restaurant,” opening their space to pop-up dinners and events hosted by young, up-and-coming chefs and local artists. As his first love is cooking, he also spends his spare time making awesome meals at home and teaching his girlfriend some of his culinary tricks.
